If you are going to include your pup, there are a few points you may want to consider. First, you should make sure dogs are allowed on site at your venue. Then...if he or she is going home with you, you will also want to book a dog-friendly hotel. Bringing a crate for the dog to relax in during the day at the wedding or hotel would be smart.
The White Gown
If you plan to have your dog accompany you down the aisle, make sure you have a few test runs and let him or her become accustom to the ceremony space. There should be a back up plan in place in case things don't go exactly as planned- arrange for someone the dog is familiar with to take care of your pup before, during and after the wedding. Dogs can be easily stimulated during large events and can become dehydrated quickly, therefore, make sure to treat your dog like one of the guests and make food and water accessible.
